The internet world today has become very versatile. You can literally find anything and get anything from the internet. Aren’t there two sides to that? “You can get anything”. That is announcing that these things you can get are plausibly good or bad. The truth is, anything can be good or bad. It depends on what the person believes in and it depends on how you use what you have access to. What do you think about free research papers? Good or bad?

In school, students are assigned to do their own research paper. Given a certain topic, they must create and follow what they need to be researching on. This is tedious work that needs time and patience. The question is do students have time and patience? I believe that not everyone does.

Students today have many sources for information needed for anything at all. It begins from books, magazines, newspapers, tabloids and of course the undying internet. The internet is not always a very good and reliable source of information every time, but it is a quick way of searching. Having this available, wouldn’t that encourage students to do their own research papers because it is made easier for them? Back then, everyone only relied mainly on books. It was a lot more difficult and tiring and yet people did it. This time there’s an easier way to get work done and yet many refer to free research papers available online. That is way too easy and deceiving. It seems that students these days get carried away by the versatility of the internet and the easy access. But like I said, it depends on what they do with it. Some students refer to free research papers for more information or back up. Most people refer to previously done free research papers online to get a bit of guidance that they need, but some never did copy the entire text.

Free research papers online made available for students are a risky thing. Although it is similar to simply posting information about a certain topic; many still attempt and steal the work pasted online. Plagiarism is such an easy act to do but some don’t take it seriously as a crime. Copying someone else’s work is just as appalling as stealing someone’s car. Then again, stealing ideas seem so secret that it is barely anything physical except for the printed paper that some students carry. It’s just like saying, if you don’t see it, then it’s not there; it doesn’t matter. While the mentioned idea could be true, education proponents especially professors and teachers very much disagree. Stealing free research papers doesn’t make it alright just because no one saw or knows you stole it. You will know you stole it and if your conscience is working correctly you’d have at least a little burden and shame, especially once you receive a high grade.

It seems that the students who do plagiary on free research papers do not understand the purpose and help of research papers at all. These research papers help you understand more on the given topic and find facts to support it. Researching practices and applies skills such as the scientific method, grammar usage, outlining and so on. It isn’t easy to do this process, but it truly helps students learn from their own work and hardship. It helps them understand more from the topic because of the reason that they are working on it themselves. The accessible free research papers online may not be bad entirely, but it should be used properly. Information such as what the free research papers online provide can be important a lot of times, but it is also important that it is not claimed as your own work. These are works of others made available to help you understand a topic. Truly it should be there for you to submit with your name on it.
