• Table of contents. Numbering should be continued following the pretext style, i.e. lower case Roman numerals;
• List of tables, pictures, illustrations etc. Should be all grouped together and put in one place of a dissertation, with numbering in Arabic numerals;
• Appendix or appendices. Numbering continued in Arabic numerals;
• Glossary. Comes after appendices with numbering continued in Arabic numerals;
• Bibliography (also can be referred to as 'Works Cited' page or 'References'. Due to numerous formatting styles, you should first consult which format to follow before commencing your writing. Requirements differ for different disciplines. Pages are numbered in Arabic numerals.
• Curriculum Vitae. This element is mandatory for PhD candidates, while optional for Master level students. Should contain a short summary of one's academic background, appearing in chronological order.
